using my ipad and imovie, i was able to produce this simple stop motion animation.  Although not very clean and not very well executed, it definitely helped me understand how these are made and really, that they could be made at all and pretty simply in a classroom setting.  It just takes time

Stop motion animation  can be an exciting tool in classroom applications as it can bring the children's artworks to life.  Im sure every child would really be into this... i certainly loved it!

  1. I loved this little video and thought you did a great job making the animation look so smooth that it barely looks like stop-motion. Now I want to watch the Russian show that you were inspired by. I also meant to ask if the cat was part of your original plan or just a happy accident.

  2. I just notice the mouse! That's why your cat jump into the frame. I really like this video and I hope I could see more story of them later on.

  3. You did such a great job with this Joe! I like that you used an example in your previous post that was special to you and you really put in a lot of effort to make this video. Stop-motion must be so time consuming! I love the idea of claymation as well, maybe we could collaborate on something and combine your video-making skills and my ceramics!
